Structural/Dynamic Analysis
Our laboratory has been studying methodologies for dynamic/structural analysis of mechatronics system elements such as actuators and mechanisms, which are the basis of high-performance system design. Using these methodologies, we can design with the desired performance within limited conditions, and further ensure the stability and reliability of the system.
Modeling/Optimization of Compliant Mechanism
- Development of muti-body static/dynamic model according to flexure shape and material properties.
- Optimal design of applied compliant mechanisms based on analytical model
Modeling/Optimization of Electromagnetic Actuators
- Development of analytical model of electromagnetic actuator according to shape and structure
- Characteristics estimation and optimal design based on the analytical model
- Air-cored axial-flux permanent magnet (AFPM) motor
Contact Mechanics of Roll-to-Roll Printing
- Establishment of structural modeling technique for contact stress analysis according to roll material
- Analysis of the effect of Nip pressure uniformity according to various pressing conditions and changes in physical properties
